Dr. Praveen Naik Bellampalli BA(MU), MSW(CUK), MA (AU), M.Phil(GRI), PGRD(AU),M.Phil(TISS), PhD(TISS), PGDDVS(IGNOU), UGC-NET, K-SET
Dr. Praveen Naik Bellampalli is currently working as Assistant Professor at Central University of Karnataka. He has completed PhD from School of Rural Development at Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Maharashtra, India. Throughout his research work, he has focused on rural urban migration from grassroot level. During his master he has worked on specially challenged children as a part of summer internship at Drak-Tsho organization in the Royal Kingdom of Bhutan.
He has cleared UGC National Eligible Test (NET) for Assistant Professor and Karnataka State Eligible Test (KSET), for Lectureship/Assistant Professor. He recently received the University gold medal from Gandhigram Rural University Tamil Nadu, India and is a recipient of National Fellowship for Higher Education, from Tribal Affair Government of India. He has presented paper in various national and international conferences and holds publication in national and international journals (SCOPUS Indexed). His research broadly focuses on migration, with special reference to poverty and gender. He has travelled Bhutan Bangladesh Indonesia and Philippines as an academic purpose.
